Balloon Trips in Scotland

Scotland is renowned all over the world for its picturesque landscapes, and seeing them from above is a unique experience. Balloon trips in Scotland are available for most regions and they offer you the opportunity of discovering the hills, castles and lochs of Scotland from another perspective. The Lothians, Perth and Aberdeenshire are some of the most popular Scottish areas to explore from the sky.

Edinburgh, Lothians and Northern Scottish Borders (Peebleshire)

The launch sites for the Lothian area include Easter Howgate, Penicuik, Arniston House and Mount Lothian. The Peebleshire area has launch sites at West Linton, Peebles and Eddleston. When the wind blows from south, the launch takes place at Balado near Kinross and when it blows from north, from Bridge of Earn near Perth. The route for every tour is not always the same. With a western wind you can fly over Auchtermuchty and Cupar and with an eastern wind, over Clackmannanshire and towards Stirling and Dollar.
