Hang Gliding Tahoe

Hang Gliding Tahoe provides powered hang gliding flights for first time and experienced pilots. Participants receive an interactive flight lesson in a hang glider powered by an aircraft engine. Participants are given a safety briefing before flight and flight suit and allowed to board the glider for flight. No pre-flight classroom lessons are required.

Flights depart in the morning from Carson City Airport in Carson City, Nevada and last approximately 30 minutes or longer. Participants are accompanied by a flight instructor who sits in the back of the craft; however, participants perform all of the piloting except for takeoffs and landings which are performed by the instructor. Participants are also allowed to select the flight locations and can choose to fly as high as 12,000 feet. Additionally, Hang Gliding Tahoe flight hours can count towards obtaining a FAA pilot license.
